refutation: John says this assumes evil must be a positive integer constant (which is philosophically interesting--means that good is either negative or isn't a polar opposite of evil). I think there
are more fundamental issues with the logic. The statement "time is
money" only translates into "time = money" iff the reverse
"money is time" is also true. Which I don't particularly believe.
I have lots of money and very little time. I think it's more likely that
time and money are involved in some ratio with another constant--something
like life. Same goes with "money is the root of all evil". Also, they translate this algebraically into "money equals the SQUARE root of all evil" which may or may not be true. What if it was a third root or something? I don't think there's enough information in "money is the root of all evil" to necessitate a translation like they have here. Suffice to
say, I think it's all silliness--don't pay it another moment of your time! |

Well Crap.... Secondly as I recall an exothermic reaction has a positive integer constant representation...now we have to relate evil and an exothermic reaction.... Most religions believe that evil is derived from hell....That seems fair enough......So let's use that.... Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)? First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So, we need to know the rate that souls are moving into Hell and the rate they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand as souls are added. This gives two possibilities.
#2 Of course, if Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.
Therefore
evil is a result of an exothermic reaction which has a positive integer
constant representation. Now with this prospective and refering back to
the equations previously sent, it is a true statement that women are the
root of all evil.......... |
